News from Denmark
As part of the political agreement “A strategy for the work environment initiative 2020”, the Council for Work Environment (Arbejdsmiljørådet) decided in 2012 to focus on two themes, one of which was “Psychosocial Work Environment in connection to organisational change”. A working group consisting of representatives from the employee and employer organisations, the Danish Labour Inspectorate and the National Research Centre for the Working Environment developed a set of guidelines taking inspiration from the main results of the PSYRES project: That communication, participation and support are important to ensure and maintain employee health and well-being during change.
